Chicago, My Sister and Veggies...

Yeah, only two of those go together, but I've got next to nothing :)

Before I left for Chicago, we had a garden picking session.  Can you guess who picked the carrots?  I had to snap a pic quickly as the boys were about to swipe the tomatoes...

I also go this in the mail before I left from my sweet cousin and her new business.  Like her page on Facebook!  She is making some fun stuff, and this serves as a subtle anniversary reminder...

In Chicago, I went to an Immaculate Heart of Mary homeschooling conference.  I picked up some great materials and now just have to decide what we might want to try.  It can be a bit overwhelming, but we've got a couple of years to make decisions.

To top it off, I spent an amazing four days with my sister, her friends, and her boyfriend.  Life is just better with her in it, and I couldn't have asked for a better time.

I also met Carter's future wife, Anne...

The rest of the time, I was too busy enjoying precious moments to snap pics.  What a fun little trip!
