Winter

We haven't had much of a winter this year. I mean, we have had some cold days, and a bit of snow, but not much to speak of.  One day last week (or maybe the week before?), around 5 pm, it started snowing out of the blue, and it was beautiful - the soft, big flakes that fall straight down without any wind.  I asked if anyone wanted to come with me to take some pictures, and Carter obliged.  It was some of the most fun ten minutes we have had in awhile!

I would like just one more of these snows before winter is gone, if for nothing else, to make one more fire, a few cups of hot chocolate and time for cuddling up under blankets...the parts of winter I love!

Newborn Photos

I decided to do Henry's newborn photos.  And, I wanted to try out more of a lifestyle approach to them.  So, over the course of a morning or two, I took photos of Henry with the family.  It was Jeremy, the tripod and me.  So, some of the angles are not the best.  And, they're not quite what they would have been had I hired someone else.  Nevertheless, here we are as a family of eight.  Eight!
