Another week down, and they're going quickly for the most part. I'm getting to where I think I need a support band for much exercise (I have never tried one, so maybe not, but I've heard great things - just might make it a little more comfortable?). I'm getting to the point where I wake up and the bump isn't terribly big, but by then end of the day, I look ready to have her. Plus, the swelling has definitely come. Need to drink more water, I'm sure. I've gained about twelve pounds and would like to stay under twenty-five if I can manage it. What else? She's moving a lot, and if I get startled at night (say from a husband's loud, random snore), I can count on being awake for another 15-20 minutes before she settles down. Carter gave her a hug and kiss goodnight last night for the first time saying he'd always "pwotect her" and Peter is now wanting to hold the "little kitty cat" - where in the world did that one come from? Glucose test is in a few weeks, and as long as they can get my blood drawn the first time (usually takes 3-4 pricks), we're good. Have to get a few things organized before her arrival, but that's about it for now.
Have a blessed Sunday!
You have such cute maternity style. If God blesses us with more kids, I'm going to come back and go through all your maternity What I Wore posts and copy them all. :)
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, thanks!! I hope He does bless you with more ;)
DeleteYou are stunning as always, friend! Love the blue on you too! And pray that you only have to endure one prick and one round of glucose testing! With Joseph I had to go two rounds because I thought drinking hot chocolate an hour before my test was a good idea?... Not one of my finer moments! *hugs*
ReplyDeleteYou are the most beautiful pregnant woman! Love your style! Have a blessed week! Good luck on your tests!
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet - thank you! And, thanks for the well wishes on the tests :) I'm sure they'll go fine - I just can get a little light headed thinking about getting my blood drawn, ha! You have a blessed week too!
DeleteAh! I can't believe you're 25 weeks already Britt! Other people's pregnancies really fly by ;) Really gorgeous sweater btw.
ReplyDeleteWow! 25 weeks...I know it isn't flying by for you. But it does seem like time is ticking away! And I must say you carry babies quite well!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Carter! What at sweet thing to say :)
