As luck would have it, the kids got sick right before I went into surgery. Sophie developed (and still has) a horrible head cold and an ear infection. Carter had a fever the night before, and it happened to be an ear infection. John Paul remains okay and Peter...well he's starting to cough. We'll see. Anyway, that might explain at least Sophie's little picture (plus the fact that her cap is too small). The kids have been with both Pops and Mimi and Papa and Elley all week (what a blessing it is to have such thoughtful, generous family). I got to spend the day with them yesterday and captured a few shots...
Sophie // almost 8 months - little sick one in a stroller. I think her eyes are forced closed by her too-tight cap.
John Paul // 2 - He has a fascination with the horses.
Peter // 3 - Working on his tower. He has three of those shirts, but they're the only ones he's wearing these days.
Carter // 4 - Showing me the speed of his "lambrogini."
Your children are precious! I read your devotion on BIS today. I just wanted to tell you that I loved it, and it really spoke to me. I too am homeschooling my children, and I think I sometimes put far too much pressure on them out of the same type of fear that you wrote about. I need to pray more about this. I'll pray for you too :) Thank you for your words.
ReplyDeleteI, like the first commenter, came here from your Blessed is She devotion. Your kids are beautiful and I can already tell you will be a great homeschooler if that is what you choose. We have always homeschooled and my kids are 19, 16, and 12, so I know what I'm talking about :). Keep up the good work Mama!
ReplyDeleteThat hat. She is so adorable in it. Also, I read Blessed is She and I know you are an amazing mama God has given you all the tools you need to homeschool your babies.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rebecca!! I appreciate your confidence so much! I need to just believe it :)
DeleteLove that you're doing this. Your kids are so cute!
