7 Quick Takes: The Baptism, Boys and My Favorite Girl

{1} My sister was home for the baptism last weekend, and we soaked up every bit of time we had with her.  She is simply the best, and you should check out her latest blog here. 

{2} Little miss Adair was baptized last Saturday, and she was as precious as could be.  She wanted to take a whole bath in the font and looked like a little angel.  It was an incredible event that allowed for a huge family gathering...always the best time!  Here she is with her grandma...

{3} At the gathering, this little doll was present, too!  Sweet Hensley is just a bit older than John Paul, and we love every chance we get to see her.

{4} This little dude is now the big TWO!  We've had lots going on with him lately.  A well-check that predicted him being 6' 1" someday, a flu shot that almost knocked him out for his birthday, and a few new exciting boy presents (we've had quite a few sword fights in the last 24 hours)!

{5} The boys found a hole at MeMe's house last weekend that needed fixing.  Thank goodness for a dump truck, a couple of shovels, PaPa and two handy little boys!  It kept them entertained for hours.

{6} This little guy's teeth have been giving him fits.  He's still as sweet as can be but lets us know (via some yells and clamping down on things) that he isn't quite himself.  He's got seven in, and only a few more to go, right?

{7} Carter wants to be many things we he grows up: a brother, tigger, like daddy, etc.  One of his favorites is a fireman, though. So, when he gets to see real-life-fireman Uncle Josh, he is in Heaven!  Especially when he takes time to read him a book...

It's cold (in the 30s) here today, so we're snuggled up watching Nemo with hot cider and debating one last trip to the pumpkin patch tomorrow.  It's going to be a great weekend, as always.  Hope it is for you too!
