Our Everyday: Volume 13...

This was another yard work weekend!  We planted a garden!  It isn't huge, and we've got a lot to learn in terms of gardening, but we're giving it a shot again.

The boys loved helping.

Carter is "feeding" the soil.

And shoveling a little dirt away.

He's pretty good with a spade.

Hole #1...the pumpkins.

Peter wasn't too sure about it all...

It might have had something to do with the way his Mama dressed him :)

Jeremy hard at work...

And me, in my brainy glasses trying to teach the boys a thing or two about plants.

Tomato plants, please don't die!

Then Carter and I had a little one-on-one time practicing the alphabet in the form of a puzzle.  He's my kid, and I might be a little delusional at times, but he knows all but about 5 letters, and I'm a wee bit proud.

His favorite letter is "C"

And he was thinking really hard about where one particular letter went.

John Paul, on the other hand, was just enjoying some time on the playmat!

Have a blessed week!

  3. This is so sweet. I love your glasses! You remind me of the mother is the Eric Carle book, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear." There are two versions of that book, one ends with a mother, and one with a teacher. But anyway, she is adorable and so are you!
