7 Quick Takes...

Thanks so much for hosting this Jen!!

7 quick takes sm1 7 Quick Takes Friday (vol. 214)

1.    Have you moms out there seen this?

2.  If anyone has any questions about the Billings Ovulation Method of NFP or would like to learn it, I'm working on my teaching certification :)

3.  We really need rain.  I mean, REALLY.  We've been in a drought for almost three years now, and the return of the dust bowl days scares me to death (hopefully we're a long way from that).  If you have a quick second, will you pray this prayer for rain for us in the southwest:

Farmers and gardeners alike all have to pray for rain periodically.
This prayer can be said in conjunction with the novena to St. Isidore.
Prayer:
O God, in Whom we live and move, and have our being, grant us rain, in due abundance, that, being sufficiently helped with temporal, we may the more confidently seek after eternal gifts. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

4.  For those of you who use BlogHer, do you love it?  Do you mind sharing the pros/cons?
On a slightly similar note, do you have a favorite program used to print your blog into an album/scrapbook?

5.  We've started a Rosary club with my cousin and her three littles...
I am her Godmother.  Cyd is his.

We go to Mass then to one of our homes, eat dinner, play and pray the Rosary.  It is such a blessing, and it is amazing how much the kids participate!

6.  Carter is a really serious little chef.

Ever since we started our cookie making days once/week, he wants to help cook everything.  I mean everything!  Here he is making some pancakes for our Sunday morning pancake ritual :)

7.  Not much to report, obvious by the random takes :) Once again, my favorite magazine:

They published a piece I wrote about my parents and their selflessness in their latest issue.  Kinda fun!
