The Snow Day that Choked Sophie

Bizarre title?  Yes.  But, listen to the story.  So, we got the boys snow shovels this winter...a fun gift for them that doubles as a fun way to get the snow shoveled off our sidewalk.  Win/win.

So, we bundled everyone up after the snow basically stopped falling, and John Paul started crying. And crying.  And crying more.  So, before he even got outside, he took all his gear off and decided to watch from the window.
Well, I thought it would be the perfect time to get some snow pictures of the boys and left John Paul and Sophie inside for a couple of minutes.

The boys started getting their jobs done.

And, as usually happens, Amos tried to "help" which only became frustrating.

To end it, Carter dumped snow on his head.

It didn't really phase him.

I think Amos missed them being outside more than they did.

I looked in the door to see John Paul with a bowl of cashews.  Oh no.  I opened the door just in time to see Sophie (red faced and eyes watering) throwing up a cashew.

My gosh!  It's time for me to pay a bit more attention to the "what could happen" scenarios.  Once all of that was taken care of, the big boys finished their work/play and came in for some warmth.

I have a feeling there will be a lot more days like this in our future...minus the cashews.

  1. On the bright side, JP was trying to share? Love the picture of Amos looking up all innocent after his punishment of snow on the head.
