Danielle Rose: Little Flower

This little guy made me a momma.  He, and every single one of his siblings have my heart.  I would also take a few more if we are so blessed in the future.  But, what if I was forbidden to have more? What if my country dictated how many children I could have?  If that were the case, the world would never know Peter, or John Paul, or even Sophie.  Honestly, as a second-born child myself, I would not even be here.

Luckily, that isn't the case for us.  As much as people say we live in a culture that can be very anti-life, we are still given the freedom to have more than one or two children.

Danielle Rose, a Christian musician, was a classmate of my sister's at Notre Dame.  Her music is beautiful and so very meaningful.  Today, she's releasing a music video that speaks so deeply to the heart of the value of each human life.

"Little Flower" is based on the quote of Mother Teresa's, "How can you say there are too many children?  That is like saying there are too many flowers."

Here you'll see Danielle in a Christian organization in Beijing whose mission it to "provide specialized care to abandoned children with medical needs."  They seek to provide a future to infants and children who have been rejected or discarded, typically due China's one-child policy.

As I listen, I quickly realize how much I have to be thankful for.  I hope you'll listen, too!
