Our Trip to the Creek

Obviously, we took some Christmas card pictures a few weeks ago.  If you follow me on Instagram, you know because I think I put a million (okay, maybe just six) of the pictures up.

We went down to the little creek in one of the pastures on the ranch and set up a bench to take a few shots.  Thank goodness for Jeremy...

I think Carter enjoyed it...

John Paul looks one going on thirty.

And, Peter just loved being outside.

We even brought Amos along for the ride.

Peter was just excited to get the pictures out of the way so he could try to chop down a tree.  He started with the grass.

We brought a few Lunchables for a high class picnic dinner, too.

Then the "gweat disaster" happened, according to Carter.  As the boys sauntered off to explore, they ran into a ton of little grass burr patches.  In fact, they were covering their legs.  To say they might have gotten a little upset is an understatement.

They thought they might die and all had to be carried back to the car.  Luckily we left this little thing on the blanket nearby to be watched by her protector, Amos.

Jeremy on sticker duty...

The excursion was fun and yielded a pretty cute Christmas picture, but next time I think we can do without the stickers!
