WIWS: Cropped Pants

So, I am terrible at this.  These pictures of my attire for Sunday (in our case, Saturday night)...not so good.

I would like to instead title it..."how to look like a dork, weirdo, poser, you name it...I've got it down"

I'll just look down...

not good.

Maybe I'll just crop myself, so you don't have to look at the weird face I'm making...

Or I'll try the "I'm almost laughing" and feeling like a crazy person pose...

 Notsomuch.  Could I stick the bottom half of my body out any farther to make it look more realistic?

After Mass...

Shirt: Splendid @ Nordstrom
Pants: Lilly Pulitzer
Crazy Shoes: Giani Bini
Necklace: Banana Republic from years ago

Mass Grades:
Carter: B - yelled "Hippity Hoppity as loud as he could but redeemed himself by singing part of the Sanctus and holding up a chip saying "Da body of Cwiiist!" (time to take away the snacks???)
Peter: A - maybe the best he has acted yet.  No fits or yelling.
John Paul: D - he's hit the stage where he doesn't want to be held but can't sit in the pew and really needs a nap.
We will be in the cry room for years!

It was a really windy Saturday night, and with both hands holding littles, I didn't have another to hold a dress/skirt down, so I went with pants to Mass so as to not let the skirt/dress get away from me on the way in.  A little casual for Church...probably so!

I tried again with another cropped pants look today:

"Carter, come stand with me!"

Oh well.
