I received this beautiful study in the mail a few weeks ago, and as predicted, it's beautiful.  It's hard not to hit right at the heart when you also receive a note such as this.  You see, I've always loved the Rosary...I just haven't been very good at consistently praying it.  But, when I don't, I can tell a difference in my daily life, and this study helps with that consistency!  Elizabeth says..."[the Rosary] is 'the epitome of the whole Gospel' (CCC 971).  The repeated prayers set the rhythm -- the quiet cadence that brings us into His presence.  And the Scriptural stories of our Savior give us breath."  In short, I love it.

I live in these pants lately. 

Jeremy bought these for my Mother's Day gift, and I truly wish I could live in them.  They are the comfiest things I might have ever worn!

If you have this ice cream anywhere near you, try it! 

Also, why do I like these?  I'm clearly eating so healthy these days.

I received the sweetest little bows in the mail for the girls.  If you know me, big bows are just not my thing.  So, you can imagine how much I love these precious ones for Sophie's braids!  And, I love the vintage material for Gen's.  Check out Baby Wisp for more adorable options!

Mid-week Likes & Links - A Day Late

First of all, can I just tell you how excited I am about this Lent study?  If you want to delve deeply into your soul as you purge the pain and reach to Him for your everything, let's do this one together. 

If you use a curling iron or a flat iron, I love this spray.

I ordered this book and cannot wait to delve in.

My friend made me a slice a this delicious cake a few weeks ago, so after telling everyone how amazing it was, I made one myself!  I've had fun this fall with a few birthday cakes too (here, here and here).  All are delicious!

I can't decide between this or this for breakfast on Christmas.

Mid-week Likes & Links

These kiddos.  They are so often such a reminder to slow down.  And, I need that reminder all too often!  I had just made my first round of cupcake cones, and I'd highly recommend them - so much less messy than just cupcakes!

If you love Zella leggings like I do, you might also love these.  Truthfully, I feel a bit weird about the see-through part when I have them on.  I like them on other people but wonder about them on me.

I am in love with this scent!  I have it in hand soap and also counter cleaner!

I made these the other day.  I'm truly not a fan of things like this...protein stuff, trying to make baked goods with protein, or a lack of flour (I know I'm blessed that finding alternatives to wheat isn't a necessity!).  So, I do't know why I made these, but really there aren't bad!

These little doughnut holes on the other hand...

I never was a fan of salisbury steak when it was that day in the cafeteria, but I've been changed by The Pioneer Woman's recipe. All the kids love it, too!

My mother-in-law told me about this as a moisturizer, and I love it!

It's been awhile!  A loooong while.  So, prepare yourself for some updating...or some skipping of the next two weeks or so of posts.

I'm loving these jeans.  Granted, it isn't something I ever thought I'd buy.  Never say never!  They're baggy, a bit distressed, and far from my typical uniform of skinny jeans.  But, they are so comfy! And, best part...$30!

Chocolate milk meets coffee, and it's so tasty!

We are loving everything Kodiak Cakes these days!  My favorites are their flapjacks on the go.  I also love the dark chocolate pancakes covered in peanut butter.  Jeremy is a big fan of their granola! Try some!

I tried this peanut butter.  I think I prefer honey peanut butter, but this is a fun, fallish change on apples!

It's a good thing Sophie basically likes clothes I pick out, because look at this skirt!  Paired with their navy peter-pan top and some knee high socks...so cute!

There isn't a one I don't feel is written directly at me, but his September 3rd podcast...a kick in the pants!

Have I mentioned how much I love this book...reading a few pages before bed, it's so relaxing.

I can't get enough of this song.

A friend gave us a few peaches the other day, and I found the.most.amazing.muffin.recipe.  Of course, it's from Sally's Baking Addiction, and on that note, she has a cookie cookbook available for pre-order!

Along those lines, I made this Blueberry Galette this week.  Okay, I made four.  But, not all for us!
I used a different crust, and I didn't add lemon zest.

I think I'm going to get these books for my kiddos.  I've heard great things about them.

My boys are always ruining the knees of their jeans.  So, I'm going to give these a shot.  Anyone else have luck with these?  Or know of pants for extra tall kids?

These peanuts are my new favorite snack.  They're really cheap around here, but if you don't live here, you can get them on Amazon.

I love the look of this shoe.

I'm finding a lot of Montessori stuff here and here - and by a lot, I mean, it is overwhelming.

I had so much fun with Brooke on her podcast this week!

I might have made Joanna Gaines' biscuits four times already.  I can't find the recipe online but it's in her summer journal!

We bought this little cot as an easy thing to fold out when the kids need to nap somewhere other than their rooms.  Peter is using it now, and it's so handy!

This isn't a gel manicure, but it's easy for home (I may paint my nails once a year)!

We are re-arranging our playroom/school room a bit.  I'm adding this to the mix.

Of course, I've still been listening to podcasts.  I love #25, #26, and #28 from Dr. Meg Meeker.

I'm jumping back on My Fitness Pal and paying attention to steps.  Anyone want to be fitness buddies?

I am not his fan, but how neat is this short video about education in Finland?

We made one of my mom's favorite desserts!

The boys (especially Carter) have really wanted to get good at using a yo-yo.  But, we haven't had much luck.  However, a friend just sent them these, and they are amazing!  They're much easier to use, and the boys love them!

We had a butterfly garden last year around this time, and I'm debating getting another or buying the ladybug land.  Anyone tried it?

Carter also has been dying to see a little volcano action.

We got this tiny little pack and play for the office, and I love it!

I love a good crock pot meal, especially on Mondays.  I really want to try these!

What do I love most of all this week?  Rain!!!  It's been raining slowly for two days and has been the biggest blessing!

If there's one thing in my days that I always love (except when pregnant), it's coffee.  And, what I love more is having coffee that's roasted locally!  We have the neatest little coffee mill in town called Mocks Mill, and they have great coffee!  They were even named as as "Java Fave" by New Mexico Magazine!

When we were little, my grandmother made us sweet little Christmas ornaments just like these.  A walnut shell, cotton ball, bead for His head, and fabric for His blanket make this precious little baby Jesus ornament.  The kids made them with Elley while they were there after we came home from the hospital with Henry, and I forgot to post this photo until now.  These ornaments are a new favorite!

I love this new chambray tunic - I have it in gray.

These are some of my favorite cardigans.  They're very lightweight, so they work year round, and the length is my favorite.

Jeremy thought the kids and I would enjoy this indoor garden.  Maybe I can't kill it?
