Valentines from the Boys

A month or so ago, while reading one of my favorite food blogs, Our Best Bites, I came across this Valentine idea - pure genius!
So, we gathered up our supplies.  But, instead of using their free printables, we created a little something of our own on Tiny Prints.  They recently added gift tags and stickers to their array of awesome items for order, so we made these...

Carter got busy cutting paper (we should have use parchment paper) to insert in the CD sleeves to prevent the cookies from making the sleeves too greasy...

Peter got the straws ready to attach at the end (the milk part of the "we go together like milk and cookies")...
and he might have had a few M&Ms in the process!

They loved working together.

Peter helped Dad put the stickers on the stuffed sleeves.

...while John Paul helped eat some candy too!

We had quite the assembly line!
The sleeves were then ready for the cookies to be inserted...

We made a batch of Nestle's Tollhouse chocolate chip cookies but used Valentine M&Ms rather than chocolate chips.

Then we stuffed the sleeves...
...and tied a straw to them.  Voila!

Happy Valentine's Day to all!
