My sister and her sweet family were here for two and a half weeks, and I feel extremely selfish saying this, but it never feels quite long enough. That's what happens, I guess, when it feels like part of your very being lives across the country. Nevertheless, we're so thankful that they were able to come, that we were able to soak in each other and each other's kiddos, and that Sophie could finally hug (again!) those she asks to Facetime every day!
One day in particular, Sophie and Kolbe wanted to play on the slide, but Kolbe's shoes weren't helping him at all.
And, I'm the mean aunt who was taking pictures.
When they're here, all is well in/with the world.
