We were in Mass two days in a row this week, and the kids were a little trying the first day. When I say a little, I mean a little. But, when you're the parent, sometimes it seems like more. Carter just wouldn't mind well. Sure, he was being fairly quiet, and we got a host of compliments after Mass, but there were times he just wasn't very respectful. I have such a hard time drawing the line between being too hard on him and letting too much go. All that to say, Saturday Mass was much, much better. Maybe our best Mass yet! And, as we were walking downstairs for Communion, Carter said, "Momma! My job is to be a worker for the Church. My job is to protect Father!" Pretty sweet.
