A couple of weeks ago (early in the morning) I was taking a few photos of the cattle in the pens and thought I was alone. When I turned around to walk back in the house, this is what I found...
He was whispering a song. More than likely it was the "Peter" song. One day I asked him what this "Peter" song was that he always wanted me to sing. Turns out it's Ragtime Cowboy Joe that Elly taught Carter. At one point it says, "There's such a funny meter to the roar of his repeater." Ohhh. His re-PETER.
So, he put on a little show...
...and then ran back inside.
Needless to say, those cattle shots weren't quite as important after that. I got a much greater capture!
Just when I think I can't love this kid anymore. Absolutely precious.
