Five Favorites

Joining Hallie for Five Favorites today...

{1}
This scarf from my participation in the 5th Annual Scarf Swap (more on this next week)!

{2}
I won't talk about my garden vegetables forever, but I'm really savoring the last few weeks of these.

{3}
I don't think this is the first time I've posted a pair of booties on my Five Favorites, but I think these are such a fun blend of "more than your everyday boot" but still casual!

{4}
I did not think these would be worth buying.  A friend sent me a pack, and I've been proven wrong.  It makes cooking in the crockpot even easier, if you can imagine that!

This coat is one my oldest received his first Christmas.  Well, it is this style but in red.  We loved it so much that we got him a bigger one the next year and passed his old one down to Peter.  Well, it looks like that time again, and I cannot seem to break away from this perfect jacket.  It keeps the boys very warm, but it is extremely light weight and not bulky.  A win on so many levels in my book!  Plus, the hood stays on.  I just need to decide on a color!

Make it a good Wednesday, and check out Hallie's page for a lot of fun things!

  1. Okay. I *always* love your favorites! Today your #4 is something I must look into. I mentioned in my last favorites from last week how I *loathe* washing my crock pot but love the yummy food that comes from it. So, this would seem to solve the problem, right? I'm excited! And I heart everything you wear! I've always wanted a good boot but never mustered the style or courage to get a pair. Some day? Hopefully soon! I'm really trying to be more thoughtful about my daily dress. :)

  3. I love those booties! Never seen ones quite like them. And I have to admit my husband's aunt sent me a couple of boxes of those liners as part of a bridal shower gift, but I always forget to use them. I'll have to give them a try!

  4. My father is the king of crockpots.....his obsession with them is borderline creepy. He turned me on to the liners and I can't live without them now! For sure a love!

  5. Oh those boots! You just had to choose something form Anthropologie, didn't you?? I'm i serious trouble now! :) We are savoring our last few tomatoes, too. I've never ventured out and made spaghetti sauce with them, but I might get up the courage to give it a try this year.

  6. I love crockpot liners and may at one point have decided to NOT cook with the crockpot because I was out of liners. Definitely a staple!

    That scarf is so cute. And that tomato. My mouth is watering!
